Samsung has revealed plans to expand the latest AI capabilities, first seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, to a wider selection of its smartphones. The update will cover devices like the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Fold 5, and various older models, as stated in a post on Samsung’s South Korea community forum.

New features powered by artificial intelligence

New functions powered by Galaxy AI include various camera and editing tools. These include the Flex video camera and Auto Zoom features that were first introduced on the Galaxy Z Flip 6. These features are now also available on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Also, Instant Slomo feature that provides enhanced slow motion video. features, will be introduced in last year’s foldable models, the Galaxy S23 series and the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Samsung also introduces several advanced editing tools for older devices. Portrait Studio, Live Effect, Sketch to Image and Motion Clipper are available on Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4 and later folding models and Galaxy S23 series and later models. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S8 and S9 series will receive these updates.
